Allied Health Assistants (AHA’s), also known as Therapy Assistants (TA’s), operate under the direct supervision of Allied Health Professionals (AHP’s) to provide therapeutic and program-related support in a range of modalities such as Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology and Physiotherapy. They are trained to work within a particular scope of practice and undertake the tasks delegated to then by the overseeing AHP.
Our AHA’s work and operate under the supervision of your AHP and operate within your funding model, and as AHA rates are substantially more cost effective than standard AHP rates, your NDIS or TAC plan can be maximised with more frequent and ongoing therapy shared between your AHP and AHA.
NB. Our Team are members of the AHANA, undergo a National Police Check, carry a Working With Children Card (WWCC), are qualified in First Aid & CPR and are fully insured.
