Hi! I am the Founder and lead behind Nurturing Hands Allied Health P/L. With a solid professional foundation in clinical care, my mission has always been to break down the walls of traditional therapy and bring high-quality, mobile support directly to where it’s needed most—homes, schools, and workplaces across Melbourne.
I am a Full Member and Director/Board Member of AHANA and hold an Allied Health Assistance (Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy) qualification from Swinburne University. My commitment to neurological and complex care is backed by specialised training in Understanding MS from the University of Tasmania and Neuroplasticity in Parkinson’s with PD Warrior. This expertise allows me to offer high-level support for complex conditions like Parkinson’s Disease, Acquired Brain Injury, and Intellectual Disabilities.
On the paediatric side, I am deeply passionate about supporting families navigating ASD, Epilepsy, and various syndromes including Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Williams, Angelman, Noonan, Leigh’s, and Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS).
What truly fuels my passion for our "Supportive Mobile Edge" is my own lived experience. Living with Multiple Sclerosis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, I have a firsthand understanding of the complexities of the healthcare system and the daily realities of managing a disability. This perspective allows me to lead with genuine empathy and a deep commitment to making therapy practical, accessible, and human-centred.
I am dedicated to building a collaborative "village" around every participant, ensuring that NDIS and TAC funding is maximised through real-world results. Whether I'm mentoring our team of Allied Health Assistants or sharing tips on the blog, my focus is always on empowering families to thrive in their own natural environments.
